The WERA Winter Fund LOVE drive began yesterday, December 4, 2017. However due to some circumstances outside of our control the first hour of my show last night didn't air. While we're busy preparing for next week's best of 2017 show we aired one of our favorite programs (number 25) with a few slight modifications specifically around the fund drive. Hey everybody. we hope you're having a great early fall and are getting ready for the rapidly approaching holiday season. As most of you know we've had our hands full with our new daughter, but we have a lot of great stuff coming up for you before the new year that we wanted to briefly talk about. So, pardon the temporary increase in rebroadcasts of shows you probably haven't heard before. And, if you missed any of them, we had some pretty awesome themed shows recently that I think you'd enjoy. For example: Episode 62 was a show made entirely for my new daughter, with some of my favorite songs and bands and tracks I thought she'll really like some day. Episode 64 featured an entire hour of a tribute to the late, great, Tom Petty. A few weeks back Rusty, from THIS IS NOT A SHOW, sent me a link that sparked a lot of discussion and soul searching regarding the top 20 songs REM put out in the post Bill Berry era. REM is one of my favorite all time bands so I decided it would be a fun exercise to put together my top 20. Rusty put his together too and we'll update this at some point if he gets us the list.
